🚨Security Breach🚨

Hello!

A few months ago, a local company had a significant security breach. They reached out to us for help.

An employee received an email that appeared to come from a trusted colleague.

Believing it was a routine internal request, she clicked the link. That single click allowed an attacker to bypass their defenses and gain instant access to the company’s sensitive data.

They brought us in to conduct a company-wide cybersecurity overview and staff training to secure their network moving forward. But you shouldn't wait for a data breach to protect your business.

3 Tips to Prevent a Security Breach

  • Verify Out-of-Band: If an email from a coworker or vendor asks for sensitive actions, call or text them directly to confirm. Don't just reply to the email.

  • Inspect Before Clicking: Hover over links and check the sender's full email address to ensure it matches the official domain perfectly.

  • Turn On MFA: Implementing Multi-Factor Authentication ensures that even if an employee accidentally gives away a password, a hacker still cannot access the account.

Here is an example you can test yourself on…
